We are an independent publication with a very limited budget (which we have thanks to your Indiegogo campaign), we offer a small compensation based on type of work submitted.

La Galería wishes to feature articles or multimedia projects that highlight issues and topics that are of interest to the Dominican Diaspora while keeping in mind that we must refrain from language that is:
- Racist
- Sexist
- Hetero-normative
- Transphobic
- Homophobic
- Ableist
- Classist
- Discriminatory against a specific group or population.
We wish to address identity, gender, internalized racism, economic, systemic and other topics that directly affect Dominicans in the Diaspora. We also want to feature pieces that celebrate the people in our community.
*La Galería Magazine encourages folks to provide sources or examples to support their claims, arguments, historical examples, or opinions (this does not apply to creative writing or art projects). Sources can be oral history, interviews, news articles, books, interviews, academic articles, among others. Sources are not needed for personal experiences. Email us with any questions.
